:pokeball: Make sure you read those!
And be sure to be conscious of the rules, because not knowing is not an excuse.

:pokeball: General rules!

:bulletyellow: Respect other members and the moderating staff.

:bulletyellow: Do not flame member art.

:bulletyellow: You must have your BC submitted to Pokeplatform to be permitted in the chats.

:bulletyellow: Please inform the group via note or front page comment should you be inactive for any period of time, so that we may not accidently remove you during activity sweeps.

:bulletyellow: If you desire to leave the group, please note us with your character’s name, pokemon, and team. We'd appreciate if you'd remove all art from the group as well!

:bulletyellow: No sexually explicit conversations or roleplays in any of our chats.

:bulletyellow: Rule breaking may result in chat suspension, inability to join events and submit art as well as bans.

:pokeball: Pokémon-Gijinka/Character-rules!

:bulletred: You may only have one main character. Only two of each pokemon are allowed.
A secondary main-character slot can be purchased with 25 BP from the Battles Home or given away as prizes for events.

:bulletred: Members may not have a legendary pokemon unless they purchase one with Battle Points. BP are earned in official battles, events and by donating prizes.

:bulletred: Shiny coloration is allowed. Pinkan coloration is also allowed as long as there is a good reason your character came in contact with enough pinkan berries to retain the color change.

:bulletred: Should you become dissatisfied with your character/pokemon, all members are allowed (1) one free switch as long as you have had your character for over three months. You can note PokePlatform with the following:
Please note the group with the following information to request a change:
-Current Pkmn & Number:
-Desired Pkmn & Number:
-Team:
-Reason for switching:
-Description of your new character and what they want to achieve on the island:

:bulletred: Evolving your character does not count as a character switch. However, killing them off to turn them into a ghost does count.

:bulletred: One extra character change will be permitted if a character slot is purchased.
The cost is 400 deviantArt points and the points should be donated to our event account: PPMail
Once purchased, you may either use the slot immediately, or hold onto it for later use.

:bulletred: Character changes can also be purchased with Battle Points (see Battles Home). The cost is 15 BP.
There is no limit to how many swaps can be purchased by using BP.

:bulletred: You may have up to 6 attacks and 2 HMs. It is okay if they are TMs, Tutor, or Egg Moves. Make sure your pokemon is capable of learning them!

:pokeball: NPCs, Pets and SPs

In order to facilitate character-development and plots for our members, the rules on SPs and NPCs have been updated.
Please keep in mind that NPCs and SPs are not secondary characters.

:bulletblue: NPC - (Non Player Character)
NPCs are nameless characters with no character-development or complex back-stories and relationships. They can be used without the main character present but overall they solely serve to advance the roleplay.
NPC Example: Random waitress, random thug, random wild Pokémon, etc.

:bulletblue: Pets
Pets are your character's faithful companions, there to provide comfort, friendship, and occasional chaos. They may be used without the main character present, but similar to NPCs, are mostly served to advance the roleplay. Pets can be both Pokemon as well as actual animals.
NPC Example: All breeds of cats, dogs, horses, birds, fish, etc.

:bulletblue: Characters can have an unlimited number of pets as long as a reference sheet is filled for each one.

:bulletblue: Pet battling is illegal on platform for ethical reasons - it's a safe haven! Anyone caught using their Pokemon pets for combative purposes will be placed under arrest (Player will receive a warning if this happens more than once).

:bulletblue: SP - (Supportive Player /Character)
SPs are special named NPCs with the sole purpose to advance the plot of the main-character. They are allowed to have a background and some relationships and they can be used without the main-character being present. However, since the overall purpose is to further character-development and plot of the main-character, SPs cannot participate in mundane rps alone or have plots on their own.
SP Example: Character's family members, Character's employer, Character's enemy or rival, former characters in the group, etc.

:bulletblue: In total we allow only 3 SPs at a time per character. 3 for your first character and 3 for your secondary.

:bulletblue: The SP Reference sheet is here. Fill it out and submit it if you wish to use a SP.

:bulletblue: SP References need to be submitted to the gallery folder SP References.

:bulletblue: SPs don't follow the 1 Pokémon rule for main characters-slots. Means, doubles are allowed.

:bulletblue: Should part of a plot require an extraordinaire amount of SPs, you need to inform us via note.

:bulletblue: Should part of a plot require an extended absence of your main character, you are allowed to rp with your SP if you send us a note.

:bulletblue: SPs are not secondary characters and therefore you cannot roleplay SP-SP with someone else unless it's in Crack-chat.

:pokeball: Submission rules!

:bulletgreen:We do not allow and strictly forbid the use of memes from other roleplay groups your character is part of. We do, however, allow public/non-group-tailored memes.

:bulletgreen: No standalone art of SPs. You can draw them with your main-character, but we won't accept art-submissions of only SPs.

:bulletgreen: Please submit art into the correct gallery folder. We will not accept it until you do.

:bulletgreen: No sexually explicit art.

:bulletgreen: No traced art under any circumstances.**

:bulletgreen: Any referenced art should have a link to the reference in the artist’s comments.

:bulletgreen: Bases are allowed (but not encouraged) on the condition that you link the base used in the artist’s comments.

:bulletgreen: Art from other people, such as commissions, are allowed as long as it only features your character.

**Should we believe you traced, we will provide an original image, and cross-check the work before removing it from the PokePlatform galleries. You will be issued a warning, and upon accumulating 3 warnings, you will be prohibited from submitting art and participating in events for a period of time. Continuous rule breaking results in a ban.
