The forced perspective on Kei really makes the composition in this piece look amazing.  and the dazzling gleam going in a half circle really makes the poses pop and make them dynamic. It makes Kei’s fighting style look more human, but with superpowers.

You could have done more with the shading in this piece, and there is something off with Zak’s anatomy. He seems sort of twisted in the wrong places for the forwards momentum you’re trying for and that makes his pose seem a lot more static and jagged in his movements.

Although you have a lot of movement, this picture looks a lot more motionless than your others.

The perspective and poses are really good and you really seem to have challenged yourself in this piece. I love the light and shine you added which works very well with the ice and glaring white snow. You really did a good number on the background, you added tons of depth and colour to something most people wouldn’t pay much attention to, and that really makes this picture stand out.

The shadows on the characters could have been improved especially when the background is so detailed. Be careful at how much blood you add, especially when it’s very right in the face. Not everyone likes it, just a heads up.

►- Highlights: As always you excel at pushing your poses, these are intense! And in this one you're pushing the foreshortening too with Zak, and it's really working for you. You chose a good moment to illustrate in both of the fighters. Kei is at the fullest extension of that pose. And poor Zak, I can see it on his face - he's thinking the title to himself, but I don't think that'll make it hurt any less. rip
Your colors are really good, it was a gamble to use colors you're less confident with, but I think it paid off! The palette is really pretty and works as a good backdrop; it's clear what it is immediately, it's not too detailed to distract, and it's not too plain to look like you ignored it. Well done for what is essentially just a solid white landscape.
Also a cringe-ing applause for actually drawing those feet, I don't think I would have been able to haha

►- Tips: I know I just praised your poses, but in this case they might be going just a bit too far. Namely with Kei, the pose is nice to look at, but I'm actually not completely sure what the pose is. Is Kei winding up like a baseball pitcher, or did they just slip and their feet are flying out from under them? Also there's electricity around their legs, but is that a part of their own attack, or did Zak paralyze them? This could be an instance where you could have left out that electricity and the picture would still read perfectly fine.
Also at these crazy angles, it gets more and more difficult to draw things you're not already totally comfortable with. It's starting to show in Zak's feet that they kind of got away from you when you were drawing them. It doesn't detract from the picture, but it is noticeable. This is the kind of thing that drawing directly from life can make a hundred times easier. Take a photo of your own foot at that angle, and trace it as practice! It'll give you a way better grasp almost immediately of what's going on.

►- Highlights: Pretty much flawless execution - the poses, the colors, the lighting, the attacks, everything reads clear as day and looks great doing it. That Dazzling Gleam is gorgeous, I love your interpretation of it. The sky as well, an aurora could have been distracting but you incorporated it well and utilized its shape to compliment the flow of the action, from the top left corner down through Zak and his Thunder Punch to Kei, and then along the sweep of Dazzling Gleam. And the rest of the aurora on the right adds just enough interest to what would otherwise be a very large patch of blank sky. Very well done!
You also did a really good job grounding the characters on the ice surface, which can be particularly hard on a solid surface like that that won't move under their feet. Kei's left arm looks a little floaty but that's about it, so really well done!

►- Tips: The image is technically very good, but I'd like to see the characters' emotions a little more. It looks like Kei's Dazzling Gleam has missed, as Zak is just hopping right over their leg and closing in with a super-effective attack. Kei's determined, serious expression doesn't give much away as to what the next move will be. Is there more to Dazzling Gleam than what we see? Does Kei have another trick up their sleeve? Are they just resigning themselves to getting decked in the head? I'd like to see that in their expression.

TOTAL SCORE: 49/60

My Thoughts:
-----
Highlights:-
-The first thing that catches my eye is the low angle/wide shot of the perspective, this set you up
for a challenge when it came to the poses of Zak and Kei which I believe you pulled off quite nicely.
- With the setting of this fight being on a frozen lake I can understand how tedious it might have been to come up with
a decent background, with the low/wide shot you used I think the borealis in the night sky was a clever touch.
-Your use of colour is very good, especially pulling off the rainbow effect of Dazzling Gleam. The lighting
the attack gives off is clearly portrayed in the higlights on both Zak and Kei's legs and the ice on which they're battling.
-The battle dynamic and poses are very well pulled off I can clearly see the curve of movement in Kei's
leg and the stability they're having to hold in they're crouched position.

Things to Improve/Think upon:-
- With the angle used although the poses were quite well done Zak still seem's to be a little stiff, I can
tell he's running and going for a punch, but it doesn't look like that flow was all that affected by Kei's attack,
like his right leg was well timed in being lifted. Using my brain a little I can understand the sequence of events
that would follow the shot you captured but not everyone who sees this might.
- Although I did commend you on the highlighting/lighting effect of Dazzling Gleam, it seems there is a lack of natural
lighting. You've gone for a nighttime setting yet, for me, it still seems like it is quite bright out. To correct something like
this perhaps using an overlay in the artwork to darken things, then using the lighting sources available to further enhance
the pictures over all composition. Also to that I would imagine there to be a greenish hue, what with the borealis and all.

=====

TOTAL SCORE: 48/60

My Thoughts:
-----
Highlights:-
-I enjoy seeing people in pain...no but in all seriousness I think using a field active move in this depicted battle was
very well done, with Zak, from what I can tell, falling over in pain at the spikes embedded in his feet. I hate to imagine
the pain he'd be in from falling all over them as well... Ouch. Also the pain quite clearly seen on Zak's face adds to the notion
that he is indeed in pain.
-Your hard-to-soft shading skills and use of colour is as outstanding as ever and looking at the previous battle entry I can already see some improvement. Your highlighting and lighting effects have also improved.
-You've managed to fill up your background quite well with beautifully coloured snow covered mountains and a starry night sky.

Things to Improve upon:-
- Although Zak's pose is quite dynamic I don't feel the same energy in this battle as the previous one [By that I mean when this piece
was submitted] Zak and Kei feel separated, there's no connection and flow of energy. The perspective used also feels flat, It's straight on-
Zak in the foreground, Kei in the middle-ground and mountains at the back.

I wooonnn?! Oh wow I was so sure I was done for. Stargirl is giving everyone a run for their money!
Is the victor determined by judge majority instead of points awarded? Because Star got more points than me, while 2/3 of the judges gave me more points than star in their critique. I'd never seen it happen before so I was curious.

Also, thanks Star for a great battle!
